ABOUT ME

Hey, I’m Michael Hoey! I was born and raised in Maplewood, New Jersey. My gateway into theatre was staring at the TV watching Beyoncé perform “Crazy In Love” when I was 5 years old, very cliche I know. After that, I begged my mom to put me in dance classes. Like any other mom would do, she enrolled me in a “Boys Only Hip Hop.” Many years of dance classes and voice lessons later, I ended up at the Boston Conservatory, where I’m currently finishing up my senior year as a Musical Theater major with an emphasis in Dance. I am planning on moving to NYC in May to pursue a career as an artist based in NYC. You can find me obsessing over dogs (especially corgis), hanging out with friends, or searching for the best spots to get a quick bite to eat!
